**Position Overview**: Long standing Fire Protection company looking for someone interested in continuing their career in the industry. We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated ASTT Certified Fire Technician to join our team. Looking for an experienced fire alarm technician to do annual inspections & repair and services.

Daily tasks include: Inspection and service of Fire Safety equipments including, but not limited to:
Fire Alarm Systems

Fire Extinguishers

Fire Sprinkler Systems

Emergency Lighting

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Inspect, and maintain fire alarm systems, sprinkler systems, and other fire suppression equipment.
- Perform routine inspections and testing of fire protection systems to ensure functionality and compliance with BC codes and regulations.
- Troubleshoot and repair fire protection equipment as needed.
- Provide technical support and assistance to clients regarding fire safety systems.
- Complete documentation and reports accurately and in a timely manner.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring their fire safety needs are met efficiently and effectively.

**Requirements**:

- ASTT Certification (Applied Science Technologists & Technicians of British Columbia) required.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in fire safety system maintenance, and inspection.
- In-depth knowledge of BC fire safety codes, standards, and regulations.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication, organisational, and customer service skills.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.

**Licence/Certification (required)**:
ASTTBC STAMP - FX/WA/FA/EM
