One opening exists for Recaust VTR (Labourer). This position is responsible for monitoring and maintaining the Recaust process at the mill. This is a bargaining unit position, open to all PPWC members. The senior qualified applicant will be awarded the position. Hourly rate of pay will be per the current PPWC Labour Agreement.

This is a physically demanding position and requires the incumbent to work in hot conditions and around lime dust and other irritants. Duties will include but are not restricted to:

- Performing duties in a safe and efficient manner.
- Performing asset care and process surveillance rounds of the area.
- Ensuring the machinery/equipment is in proper working order and troubleshooting any issues that may arise.
- Isolating and locking out process equipment for maintenance, inspection, and repair.
- Conducting qualitative process control tests.
- Perform acid cleaning on process equipment as required.
- Capable of operating under SCBA, and PAPR hoods.
- Operating mobile equipment.
- Monitoring sewers, tank levels and process emission sources.
- Provide vacation and training relief.
- Provide relief for the Recaust Operator as required.
