Overview:
The **Surveillance Supervisor** will be responsible for the supervision of the Surveillance employees in a shift work environment. Strong presence in the Surveillance Room will be vital to your management of people and interacting with internal customers while delivering exceptional customer service.

**Responsibilities**:

- Fosters a safe and efficient work environment while maintaining an open door policy.
- A strong presence in the Surveillance Room will be vital to your management of people and interacting with internal customers while delivering exceptional customer service.
- You will maintain awareness of the gaming operation at all times, and plan, organize and direct the overall operation the shift by delegating duties, briefing/monitoring of employees, and overseeing occurrences as they develop.
- You will be accountable for your staff, assisting with hiring, training, evaluations, recognition and development.
- Your strong organizational skills will allow for balancing multiple responsibilities in operational demands and employee engagement.
- You will ensure compliance with Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario (AGCO) regulations and all applicable laws, policies and procedures.
- Lead or facilitate meetings with guidance from more senior staff to discuss audit findings and consulting services with top levels of management.
- Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION, AND CERTIFICATIONS
- A post-secondary education or comparable working experience in related field with strength in gaming/surveillance areas- Supervisory experience in the related field of one (1) or more years- Working knowledge of computer software packages- A proficient knowledge of Internal Control Manual and AGCO Departmental Manual- The ability to obtain registration as a Category 1 Gaming Assistant with the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario

SKILLS
- Strong analytical, organizational, and managerial skills.
- Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills.
- Extreme confidentiality.
- Be flexible to work varying shifts and time schedules as needed.
- Review and comprehend all necessary documentation.
- Manage multiple tasks concurrently in a changing environment.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS
- Ability to stand and sit for extended periods of time.
- Ability to walk distances.
- Working in a small space, away from the main casino floor.
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms, talk or hear; and taste or smell. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close, distance, color, and peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
- The Casino environment is hectic, fast-paced and often crowded and noisy. May be exposed to casino related environmental factors including, but not limited to excessive noise and constant exposure to general public.
