Contractor Sales Associate

As a Contractor Sales Associate, you will play a pivotal role in establishing and nurturing relationships with our valued contractor customers. You will be responsible for driving sales growth through effective communication, understanding customer needs and collaborating with various departments such as our professional design desk, Brighton Truss and more. Your contributions will directly impact on the success of our contractor sales division and enhance Brighton Home Building Centre’s reputation as a go-to solution provider for contractors.

**DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Develop and cultivate strong, long-lasting relationships with customers within the construction industry.
- Actively drive sales by identifying and addressing current and future needs of contractor clients, utilizing BHBC’s comprehensive product offerings.
- Collaborate with contractors to understand their requirements and tailor solutions that align with their projects.
- Identify opportunities for new account growth, generate business leads and effectively convert leads into sales.
- Keep abreast of marketplace dynamics, including emerging suppliers and products, and communicate relevant changes and updates to contractor clients.
- Provide accurate and timely quotes and maintain meticulous records of Pro Account transactions and interactions.
- Exceed sales targets and credit goals while ensuring a high-quality customer experience.
- Team player, ability to assist in all departments.

**QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE**:

- A strong desire to foster relationships and engage with professionals in the construction industry.
- Proven ability to thrive in a dynamic environment, displaying adaptability and initiative.
- A result-oriented mindset, driven by achieving and surpassing targets.
- Effective communication skills to coordinate with various internal departments, suppliers and contractors.
- Knowledge of Building materials, decks, addition building is preferred.
- Physical agility, including the ability to stand, climb ladders and lift items.
- Preferred combination of experience in sales, retail and the home improvement industry.

Pay: $40,000.00-$50,000.00 per year
