**We are currently seeking a mature individual to join our team as a full-time Building Materials, Pro Sales.**

**Responsibilities include but are not limited to**:

- Responsible for special ordering building materials, utilizing both company software and suppliers’ software to efficiently minimize lead times.
- Communicate and follow through on all customer orders and deliveries to ensure execution is precise and our team is delivering exceptional product and customer service beyond expectations every time.
- Ability to design decks, small projects and houses an asset
- Understand and interpret local building codes.
- Keep up to date on pricing, practices and policies of company competitors.
- Maintain practical knowledge of building materials and lumber products including uses, advantages and disadvantages.
- Be willing to participate and continuous learning in an ever-changing environment.
- Maintain professional confidentiality of all store and customer records.
- Perform day-to-day administrative tasks such as processing paperwork.
- Work on additional duties, special projects and assignments as assigned by management.
- Always maintain professional demeanour and behave in a manner befitting company policy and expectations.

**Qualifications and Experience Required**:

- Minimum of 10+ years’ experience in a similar role.
- 5+ years working in building material sales, installing and/or building.
- Strong mathematical skills.
- Ability to plan, organize, delegate and follow-up on team activities and projects.
- Knowledge of market trends and competition in the industry.
- Ability to understand and operate POS, inventory computer systems, Microsoft Office required. Profit master experience considered an asset.
- Experience working in other Home Building centres or in any building supply industry is considered an asset.
- Strong customer service experience.
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) is a must.
- Must read, comprehend and interpret written and printed materials, and information provided in numerical and statistical form.
- Ability to work flexible hours.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From $60,000.00 per year
