Overview: **NATIONAL ACCOUNTS INSIDE SALES REP** **The Opportunity** **Why work with us?** **>** Benefits are effective on day one for all full-time direct hires **>** Training programs are available to help guide team members and develop new skills **>** Growth Opportunities - there is immense opportunities to grow your career **>** You will be part of a Global Company - our family brands are backed by Daikin Industries, Ltd. **Responsibilities**: May include, in addition to; - Execute all aspects of the sales function including order processing, purchase orders, payment processing, quotes, and delivery dates - ensure accuracy of information being entered to guarantee correct item(s) are ordered - Provide excellent customer service includes product/order information, sales, warranties, and returns - Educate customers about product terminology, features, and benefits to improve sales and customer satisfaction - Obtain and monitor scheduled shipment dates to ensure timely delivery and expedite as needed Coordinate with manufacturing, sales, distribution, and vendors regarding shipments - Adhere to Daikin's Code of Business Conduct, core values, policies, procedures, and standards - Provide support that assists in the National Account team meeting or exceeding sales budget as defined by sales management - Quote LC & VRV Projects as requested by National Accounts or National Acct Managers - Prepare submittals, register projects, place orders with customer service, track shipments, provide follow up information and communication to customers and the Natl Acct team - Monitor project/customer development targets on a weekly basis; communicate weekly results to sales leadership - Enter and maintain sales data in Daikin's CRM or Daikin City system - Expand knowledge of HVAC products and keep current with latest trends within the industry - Perform additional projects/duties to support ongoing business needs Qualifications: Nature & Scope: - Works within well-defined instructions - Uses established procedures and works under supervision to perform assigned tasks - Work is closely supervised Knowledge & Skills: - Ability to comprehend detailed knowledge of Daikin Light Commercial & VRV products and services, customers, decision makers, sales processes, and market trends - Ability to read and comprehend architect and engineer plans - Ability to effectively negotiate agreements with customers and other related parties - Ability to execute the consultative selling approach in a B2B environment - Ability to effectively communicate ideas, concepts, business plans, and strategies - Ability to develop quality interpersonal relationships and demonstrates flexibility and an open mind in social styles - Embraces the "customer and team first" concept and uses a collaborative style in problem-solving - Demonstrates critical thinking and problem-solving skills - Frames professional activities through an organized and detailed time management system - Work positively with all levels of management and peers to ensure all areas and departments are kept up to speed and are working as an effective team to deliver the highest level of service possible - Understand and follow work instructions, operating procedures, and company policies - Demonstrates discernment and sound judgment - Effective organizational skills and time management skills including ability to prioritize and multi-task. - Positive, professional attitude, handling difficult customers with ability to diffuse negative situations - High level of attention to detail and accuracy and compliance oriented. - Ability to establish positive working relationships with internal and external customers and employees. Experience: - 2-5 years sales experience preferably in the HVAC industry. - LC and VRV experience are preferred **Education**: - Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, Degree in mechanical engineering preferred Physical Requirements/Work Environment: - Must be able to perform essential responsibilities with or without reasonable accommodations Qualified Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States.
