Supervisor

SUPERVISOR position
- **Must have full flexible availability weekdays and weekends**_

Assist in running opening and closing shifts and promoting all aspects of the business; including but not limited to buying, pricing, sales, merchandising, loss prevention, training and supervising staff. Promote a high level of customer service and continually strive for innovative solutions and alternatives in bettering the business.

**MAJOR AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY**

1. Opening and closing responsibilities, including but not limited to: key control, locking and arming the store, and cash handling responsibilities.

2. Lead assigned shifts, ensuring that customers are greeted immediately, their needs are determined, and all transactions are handled in a professional and enthusiastic manner.

3. Set example for all staff on customer service (greeting, communication, defusing difficult situations)

4. Set example and coach all staff in buy process (sorting to expectation with choosing the proper items in style & condition i.e., current styles and no damages)

5. Ability to follow and implement closet chat instructions, expedite communication to team members, delegate tasks given, ensure positions and tasks are completed and done properly by all team members

6. Keep your attention tuned to all team members who may be having a difficult time dealing with their assigned tasks

7. Keep your attention tuned to all team members redirection of team members that are under performing and excessive chatting or distracting other team members from doing their tasks or operation of the day

8. Continue assistance in development of staff; focusing on coaching, training, and role modeling desired behaviors.

9. Support and execute all buys as per process efficiency guidelines. Manage all customer buys to ensure we maintain productivity and profitability standards.

10. Ability to access floor assessment by monitoring that floor is kept up to expectations and maintained throughout the shift.

11. Maintain merchandise and visual presentation standards on a daily basis to all display areas

12. Assist to help train associates for all store positions. Implement individual development plans, set productivity and performance standards for each associate. Complete and deliver associate performance evaluations in a timely manner. Create and maintain an environment of consistent and continuous coaching.

13. Ensure all social media platforms messages are addressed (Facebook and Instagram)

14. Ensure regular communications to Managers/Owners on a regular basis

15. Ability to manager labour hours, manage shifts, assigned detail duties

**PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS**

1. Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time, up to 8 hours a day.

2. Ability to lift and/or push up to 40 lbs. without assistance. May involve heavier lifting with assistance of team member or cart/dolly.

3. Bending, rotating, and reaching conducive to a retail environment and to receiving,

pricing and stocking merchandise.

4. Exposure to typical retail environment conditions and noise levels.

5. Able to operate a computerized sales terminal.

**Salary**: $16.00-$17.00 per hour
