We are looking for the next
**Operational Specialist Associate **to join our firm. In this role, you will be a member of a collaborative and operations focused team requiring exceptional communication skills, proficiency with technology and high attention to detail. Through a combination of time-management abilities, strong administrative background, and interest in the investment management industry you will collaborate with client service and back-office teams to ensure fast and accurate client administration, effective process execution and seamless onboarding experience.

This functional team consists of three areas cross trained to provide a solid learning foundation of our industry while providing the highest quality of output aiming to exceed established SLA’s.

The functional areas include:

- Client Onboarding and Compliance
- Transfers and Transactions
- Client Administration

**What You Will Do**:

- Understand the platform of investment products, services, and regulatory requirements
- Contribute to current and future process and technology development
- Prepare client documentation, open new accounts, and facilitate transferring of assets from delivering institutions
- Ensure all client documentation meets regulatory and compliance requirements
- Work in various software environments to enter and maintain data integrity and organize client documentation
- Execute specific transactional requests and coordinate cash settlements as needed
- Reconcile in-cash and in-kind transfers, validating that all assets have successfully transferred in
- Ensure consistent and accurate entry of client information into our CRM database
- Actively engage in ongoing learning and development to continuously improve skills and knowledge
- Provide administrative support and back up as required

**What You Bring**:

- Undergraduate degree or equivalent work experience, preferably in a related field
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills (English and/or French)
- Strong administration skills, forward thinking in process development with confidence to adapt to change as necessary
- Strong organizational and time-management skills with an ability to multi-task
- Experienced working independently as well as in partnership with other team members
- Good judgment coupled with the ability to set clear expectations and make sound decisions
- Advanced user of Microsoft office, specifically Excel
- Previous Salesforce experience is considered an asset
- Understanding of private client service and investment management practice is an asset
