Housekeeping Supervisor

**This position requires working all shifts including weekends, and holidays**
- Uphold the highest level of cleanliness in guest rooms
- Perform daily room inspections, and perform housekeeping duties as required.
- Maintain a professional and supervisory demeanor at all times, setting an example of leadership for all staff
- Completion of daily administrative requirements, eg. scheduling, lost and found, key control and housekeeping reports
- Train and supervise all housekeeping staff, with complete follow up work on performance issues, proper care of equipment and cleaning as well as productivity assignments
- Preparation of daily work assignments for all departmental employees, prior to their starting times, according to occupancy demands and functions booked in the hotel, keeping within the existing budget.
- Ensure that all staff report to work on time and in proper uniform, follow hotel grooming, and dress standards.
- Follows required documentation and corrective measures regarding employee discipline and Health and Safety issues, including WSIB and internal accident reports.

**Competencies We Are Seeking**:

- Previous Housekeeping Supervisor experience is required.
- Excellent command of the English language, secondary language a benefit.
- Must enjoy teamwork and a multi-tasking environment.
- Should work very well under set timelines without compromising work results.
- Must be able to work flexible hours throughout the entire week (weekends and holidays are a must).
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time

Pay: $18.50-$20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 32 - 40 per week
