WE ARE GROWING and looking to fill a part-time Career Coach position supporting students in the Transitions to Employment Program at the Wetaskiwin Campus

**HOW YOU'LL MAKE A DIFFERENCE**
- Supporting students in their career journey through career coaching on resume writing, interview preparation, goal setting, job searching and more
- Creating opportunities for students to connect their academic experience to the real world through Work-Integrated Learning experiences
- Engaging all stakeholders: students, faculty, and employer-partners to develop mutually beneficial learning opportunities
- Collaborating with WILCEC Leadership to start small and think big to find ways forward
- Developing students’ workforce relevance through curriculum development, presentations, workshops, and more

**WHAT YOU BRING**
- Experience working in the relevant program field is an asset
- A diploma or degree in education, human resources, management or relevant field; equivalent experience may be considered
- Experience in post-secondary environment or hiring and recruiting environment with knowledge of employability skills and career development techniques and strategies
- Experience with various student demographics such as;
- International students, immigrants, refugees, at risk individuals or newcomers.
- Previous experience with providing individualized support for each student
- Previous experience teaching or creating and delivering workshops and presentations
- A willingness to support your team, employer-partners, and other stakeholder
- Drivers License

- Bold curiosity and a willingness to learn new technology with previous experience with ESAT, Moodle, Articulate 360, Orbis, and Peoplesoft preferred
- Previous experience working with immigrants, newcomers, and language learners preferred
- Willingness and ability to travel to employer-partner sites around Edmonton

**SALARY**:AUPE Advisor I | $2,078-$2,700 biweekly reflective upon what you bring AKA your education and experience. This is a casual position until March 31, 2026. For more information regarding the AUPE Collective Agreement, please check out this link.

Please note that this is a 0.5 FTE position and the salary will be prorated accordingly.
