Broderick Capital is a Canada-based investment bank. We provide financial and strategic advisory services to clients, including M&A, capital raising, valuation, and business consultancy services. We serve a wide range of industries, including HealthTech, Sustainable Foods, Waste Management, Cannabis, and more.

Broderick Capital is seeking a motivated Business Development Associate to join our Canadian team. As an Associate, you will lead business development initiatives across multiple existing and future Broderick clients. In this role as a Business Development Associate, your primary responsibilities will include:
**General Responsibilities**
- Management of all aspects of our new sales and relationship development process, demonstrating the ability to develop a deal framework for all opportunities that will increase the likelihood of the deal successfully closing, from identification, discovery, nurture, opportunity origination, proposal writing, negotiation, closing, and relationship expansion.
- Development of short-term and long-term retention and growth strategies for clients and delivering on those strategies to continually build a strong business pipeline.
- Monitoring of revenue achievement by customer and undertaking appropriate action with key stakeholders to ensure that commitments are being met or exceeded.
- Development and maintenance of strategic multi-level customer relationships to uncover specific needs and behaviours of key decision makers.
- Development and growth of a leading waste management technology business in Western Canada and Northwestern US (waste management and cleantech client).
- Significant contribution to a client’s new business targets, accurate and effective identification/management of new market opportunities/leads, and management of pipelines in order to prioritize business opportunities and internal resources.
- Effectively delivering the value proposition and story of our clients.
- Maintenance of complete and accurate records in CRM.

**Role Requirements**
- Previous experience in a client facing, sales, or business development role
- A basic understanding of the investment banking industry and the M&A sector
- A drive to deliver on aggressive growth and sales targets
- Comfort with face to face meetings and business development calls
- Proficiency with tools including PowerPoint, Word, and Excel
