**WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR**

We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Costing Assistant to join our Finance team. Reporting to the Costing Manager, the Costing Assistant will be responsible for processing, maintaining, and analyzing data to determine cost accurately. The Costing Assistant will collaborate with various departments across the business, assist in preparing reports and maintaining cost data integrity across all systems.

**DUTIES INCLUDE (BUT NOT LIMITED TO)**:

- Process, maintain and analyze data to be used for cost determination.
- Work with production department to verify accuracy of production orders.
- Work with traffic department to verify logistics costs.
- Maintain back up for all cost calculations for audit purposes.
- Verify and maintain accuracy of sales prices in collaboration with Sales teams.
- Flag and update inconsistencies in cost and price data.
- Help in preparing periodic reports to compare standard costs to actual costs.
- Collaborate with other data clerks to meet deadlines for cost data entry.
- Assist in month end inventory reconciliation.
- Assist in preparing margin reports.

**REQUIRMENTS**
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field or equivalent
- 2-3 years experience as an administrative assistant.
- 2-3 years of experience working with an ERP software.
- Knowledge of cost accounting principles
- Proficiency in data analysis and working with excel spreadsheets.
- Ability to meet deadlines.
