**General**

**Days required are mainly Tuesday and Wendesday**
- Create a positive and welcoming working environment for fellow co-workers.
- Engage each employee within the building respectfully and professionally
- Support the Vision, Mission, and Values of Executive Hotels and Resorts on a daily basis
- Maintain warm and hospitable guest relations in all guest contact.
- Be flexible with schedule to work every shift (including overnight) and statutory holidays as required - especially in emergency situations
- Communicate with other unit supervisors to ensure sufficient planning for Housekeeping services and activities
- Knowledge of the Employment Standards Act
- Thorough knowledge and implementation of the collective bargaining agreement with a focus on positive employee engagement
- Coordinate and respond to guests’ requests promptly and according to policies
- Maintain positive working relationship with suppliers
- Cover Manager On Duty shifts as required
- Proactively suggest ways to improve the operation in conjunction with the General Manager
- Perform other job duties and projects as directed
- deficiencies to the attention of the employees and then conduct follow through to ensure it was completed.

**Housekeeping/Maintenance** **Must be available 2-3 days per week including holidays and weekends**
- **Oversight of the housekeeping and maintenance departments while on shift. These positions include, but are not limited to**:

- Room Attendants (all classifications)
- House Persons (all classifications)
- Minibar Attendants (all classifications)
- Spa Cleaners (all classifications)
- Maintenance Persons (all classifications)
- Inspect all rooms daily for discrepancies with cleanliness and maintenance concerns
- Fairly assign rooms to Room Attendants and continuously improve standards for cleanliness
- Follow through with daily tasks for House Persons and check for completion of assigned tasks.

**Job Type**: Part-time

**Salary**: $21.05 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Toronto, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Hotel Housekeeping: 1 year (preferred)
