Plant Operations Supervisor

**Job Summary:
Reporting to the Production Manager the Shift Supervisor will assume a key role in managing operations and logistics at Li-Cycle’s pilot plant for lithium-ion battery recycling.
We are seeking a talented, motivated, and top performer to join our team in this role.
**Primary Responsibilities**:
- Oversee day-to-day plant operations and battery storage facilities
- Monitor and troubleshoot operational issues; escalate to engineering or operations team as necessary
- Manage all communication on operational issues between management and shift teams
- Monitor all safety and environmental issues and report any issues to management
- Ensure work site free of any waste and maintain neat and clean plant
- Train and supervise employees as required
- Other duties as required
**Job Requirements**:
- Minimum educational requirements: college diploma or technical trade
- Experience in plant operations of an industrial environment
- Trained in Transport of Dangerous Goods (training to be provided as needed)
- Forklift driving experience required
- Excellent technical, communication, organizational, managerial, and planning skills
- Scheduled based on 24-hour shift rotation

- Consistently delivers quality work on time, with a strong attention to detail
