**ABOUT THE ROLE**

You will report to the Maintenance in charge on site and be responsible for a range of duties that will help you to understand Facilities Maintenance, in-house and third party contracting, trade and non-trade work. Some of these duties will include:

- General Maintenance of Facility
- Exposure to Boiler Operations, logging information.
- Reviewing building automations systems
- Prepping and painting
- Changing lights and lamps
- Maintenance checks on HVAC Units, filters and drive belts
- General yard and landscaping work
- Simple plumbing issues
- Troubleshooting
- Administrative and paperwork completion
- Resident room maintenance checks

- You are between 15 and 30 years of age at the start of employment

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

- Must be registered to return to post-secondary September 2025
