We intend this position to evolve into a General Manager position within the next two years, with a corresponding increase in compensation.

**Salary and Benefits**:

- Base Salary: $55,000 - $70,000 annually
- Full benefits, personal fuel allowance, and PTO
- Bonus Pay: Includes profit-sharing and performance-based bonuses tied to key performance indicators such as:

- Labor efficiency
- Staff retention

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Oversee and manage the operations of the company, ensuring all landscaping and property maintenance tasks are completed to the highest standard.
- Expand project-based services, such as patio pavers, garden design, tree planting, retaining walls, sod removal and installation, and other major landscaping projects, if experienced.
- Be on call from November 1st to March 31st for snow removal operations, managing unpredictable schedules with early starts and varying finish times.
- Monitor and improve labor efficiency, staff retention, and profit margins through effective leadership and innovative solutions.
- Provide hands-on training and mentorship to team members to ensure quality service delivery.
- Maintain and repair small engine equipment and vehicles as needed (mechanical knowledge is preferred).
- Develop and implement operational strategies to enhance company growth and service quality.

**Qualifications**:

- Proven experience in operations management, preferably in the landscaping, property maintenance, or a related home service-based industry.
- Comprehensive knowledge of landscaping services and property maintenance tasks.
- Experience working in Alberta, Saskatchewan, or Manitoba during winter and summer is required.
- Mechanical aptitude and experience with small engines are strong assets.
- Strong organizational, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to thrive in a demanding, on-call winter environment with unpredictable schedules.
- Excellent communication skills and a proactive approach to team management.

**Preferred Skills**:

- Experience with snow removal operations and winter equipment maintenance.
- Experience with spring, fall, and summer maintenance tasks such as hedge trimming, lawn mowing, weeding, etc...
- Knowledge of landscape construction projects, such as patios, garden designs, and retaining walls.
- Leadership, humility, accountability, willingness to learn, commitment to self improvement, and personability are essential soft skills for the position.

Pay: $55,000.00-$70,000.00 per year
