**Responsibilities**:

- Coordinate with subcontractors and vendors, ensuring alignment with project goals and timelines.
- Monitor resource utilization and adjust plans as needed to optimize efficiency.

**Team Leadership**:

- Lead and manage project teams, providing clear direction, guidance, and support.
- Foster a collaborative and productive work environment, promoting open communication and teamwork.
- Delegate tasks effectively and empower team members to perform at their best.

**Progress Monitoring and Reporting**:

- Monitor project progress against established milestones and deliverables.
- Prepare regular status reports for internal stakeholders and clients, highlighting key accomplishments, challenges, and solutions.

**Budget and Cost Control**:

- Develop and manage project budgets, tracking expenses and ensuring adherence to financial constraints.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement strategies to optimize project budget utilization.

**Quality Assurance and Compliance**:

- Ensure that all project activities adhere to industry standards, regulations, and safety protocols.
- Conduct regular quality checks to verify work meets established quality criteria.

**Client and Developer Communication**:

- Maintain consistent communication with clients, providing updates on project status, changes, and potential impacts.
- Address client concerns and inquiries promptly and professionally.

**Change Management**:

- Assess and manage changes in project scope, schedule, and resources, ensuring mínimal disruptions and optimal outcomes.

**Problem Solving**:

- Identify challenges and obstacles that arise during project execution and implement effective solutions.
- Proactively address issues to prevent escalation and delays.

**Project Closure and Documentation**:

- Conduct thorough project reviews to evaluate successes and areas for improvement.
- Ensure all project documentation, including as-built drawings and final reports, are complete and accurate.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field (Master's degree preferred).
- Proven experience as a Civil Project Manager, successfully delivering civil engineering and construction projects.
- Strong knowledge of civil engineering principles, construction techniques, and industry best practices.
- Proficiency in project management tools and software.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
- Problem-solving skills with a proactive and solution-oriented mindset.
- Familiarity with construction regulations, permits, and compliance requirements.

- French not required

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Middle Sackville, NS B4B 1S1: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
