Junior Estimator

Tri-Ex Construction specializes in commercial excavation, installation of on-site waste water systems, construction of subdivision roads, underground utilities and civil construction projects.

As a Junior Estimator your duties will include:

- Comprehending construction drawings and specifications.
- Quantity take-offs and summaries for earthworks, sewer systems, water services, and civil construction.
- Procurement of material costs, communicating with general contractors and subcontractors during the tender phase.
- Working with the project manager throughout the construction phase of the project.

Qualifications:

- Completion of post-secondary education in a relevant discipline with 0 to 3 years of experience.
- Reliable transportation.
- Excellent organization and computer skills (Microsoft Excel and Word).
- Knowledge of AutoCAD is considered an asset.
- Ability to quickly learn new software programs.

**This role is ideal for a recent graduate in the field of engineering (eligible for EIT or CET designation considered an asset) who is looking to gain experience and advance their career with a growing company.**
