**2. How will your day-to-day look like?**

With customer service at the center of this role, you will work with 1 or 2 moving specialists to help customer transport, load and unload household items in a safe and efficient manner.

You are the team lead who can use your expertise to instruct crew members, while maintain effective communication to understand customers’ requirements.

A typical moving day consists of 5 to 8 hours of labor work, including travelling between worksites. You are expected to drive a 3-ton or 5-ton moving truck, perform physical labor, organize truck, conduct furniture disassembly and reassembly, plus necessary furniture and boxes packing.

**4. What are your must-haves?**

a. Post-secondary diploma or equivalent.

b. Fluent in speaking and writing English

c. Nova Scotia class 5 full license or equivalent with clean record

d. Minimum of 3 years in a home-service team member role with physical labor experience.

e. Physical ability to lift 50LB/23KG by yourself

f. Understanding of geometry and physics.

g. Clean criminal records and child abuse register search

**5. What are things you will be doing?**

a. Support crew members with on safe and efficient job completion.

b. Drive commercial vehicles, including 3-ton and 5-ton truck with hydraulic brakes.

c. Disassemble and reassemble customer furniture when needed.

d. Move furniture, boxes, and items in and out of customer properties.

e. Wrap customer items with packing material when required.

f. Arrange items in truck to ensure space utilization and stability while transporting.

**6. What will you pay structure look like?**

a. Base pay: Base rate depending on prior experience.

b. Operational bonus: Stair fee, oversized item fee, etc.

c. Customer tip: 100% of customer tip supplied, evenly distributed among team members

d. Pay increase: Automatic rate increase base on accumulated work time.

e. Benefit: Benefit package for full-time and part-time workers.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $22.00-$28.00 per hour
