Event Decor Lead

Our event planning company is seeking a creative and detail-oriented Event Decor Lead to join our team. As the Event Decor Lead, you will be responsible for overseeing the design and execution of all event decor for our clients. You will work closely with the designers to understand their vision and create customized decor plans that bring their events to life.

**Responsibilities**:

- Collaborate with designers to understand their event decor needs and vision
- Develop a estimated quote based on the vision and proposal from the designer
- Oversee the installation and execution of event decor, ensuring all elements are delivered and set up according to plan
- Manage a team of decor team members, providing guidance and direction throughout the planning and execution process
- Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to ensure all necessary decor elements are delivered on time and in good condition
- Maintain an inventory of event decor items, ensuring all pieces are properly stored and maintained into their original place in the warehouse
- Loading and Unload truck with decor items
- Arrange Pick up and Return decor items from third party vendors

**Requirements**:

- 2+ years of experience in event decor planning and execution
- Strong design and creative skills, with a portfolio of past work to showcase
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with clients and team members
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and project management skills
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed
- Familiarity with event decor software and tools is a plus
- Experience with lighting production is a plus
- Ability to lift 75lbs +

**Job Types**: Seasonal, Casual, Permanent
Contract length: 4 months

**Salary**: $20.00-$25.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 12 hour shift
- Every Weekend
- On call
- Weekends as needed

Supplemental pay types:

- Overtime pay

**Experience**:

- event designer: 2 years (required)
