**About the Job**:
Cosmo Pro provides complete event A/V solutions through the rental, sale and deployment of audio, video, lighting, and related equipment to fulfill our client’s technical needs for their events, ranging from corporate meetings to private events, and large-scale outdoor festivals across the GTA and southern Ontario.

As an experienced event AV technician, you will be that will be responsible for the planning, setup, operation, and dismantle of the technical aspects of events and strive to exceed client expectations. You are proficient in the effective, safe setup and operation of industry-standard audio, lighting, and video display solutions. You understand that seamless execution is key to a successful event and will use your abilities to help our team achieve success.

We are seeking an individual strong live event technical skills and a good understanding of the unique nature of live events to further grow our business.

**Key Deliverables**:

- Exceeding client expectations by delivering high-quality events, on-time, every time.
- Client engagement, retention, and growth
- Further develop relationships with our vendors, partners, and venues.
- Working with our Pro Team to drive our brand forward.

**Scope of Responsibilities**:

- Design, prep and pack event equipment at or offices & warehouses in Richmond Hill
- Work with our team in the on-site equipment delivery, setup, operation and troubleshooting of equipment at event sites across the GTA & southern Ontario.
- Evenings, days and weekends - flexibility is key
- Constantly learning about new product offerings and advise teammates on new developments within the industry.
- Represent our organization as an event professional to our partners, venues, and clients.
- Maintain professional conduct, appearance and engage others with a cooperative teamwork attitude.
- Adhere to established safe working procedures, industry accepted practices, and wear appropriate safety equipment when required

**Qualifications**:

- 3 years of live event technical experience
- Formal technical training in an associated college or university program is an asset.
- Some experience with client management & relations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Understanding of live event environments and how AVL plays a role in an event’s success.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, meeting the needs of our diverse clients.
- Ability to work independently and as a team member, with strong time management skills.
- Possesses a strong desire to continually learn and develop relationships to becoming a trusted advisor to clients.
- A clean driver’s abstract with minimum 3 years experience driving with an Ontario full G - level license.
- We strive for a good work/life balance - Some days are longer than others and travel may be required.
