Job Summary
- Take orders on POS
- Answer phone calls
- Greet/engage customers
- Handle customer inquiries/feedback
- Opening/closing duties
- Keep track of inventory
- Organize/replenish food display areas
- Assist bakers when necessary
- On-going cleaning throughout the store
- Decorate & slice cakes for retail sale
- Prepare various cake decorations
- Keep track of inventory/cake stock
- Think quickly to resolve any unexpected issues
- Ensuring kitchen cleanliness, including washing dishes, mopping and sweeping
- Raises are common for those who are self-motivated, eager to learn, take initiative, like challenges, and perform well under pressure

Required Education, Skills and Qualifications
- Customer service-oriented
- Food Handler certification required (within 1 week of start date)
- Able to work quickly and efficiently, with a sense of urgency
- Able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Able to learn quickly, follow directions, work clean, and be organized
- Have a bright, positive attitude and a friendly, tidy image
- Must be punctual and reliable
- Have strong communication skills
- Have a sense of tidiness/hygienic standards
- Must be able to work on weekends / holidays (if needed)
- Must have a keen eye for quality assurance
- Must be able to lift at least 20kg

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 20-40 per week

**Salary**: From $15.75 per hour
