We are currently hiring full time, permanent **Production Machine Operators **to work at our Fergus, ON location where we manufacture plastic Hose and Tubing.

**Wage: $21.63 base, plus competitive shift premiums for afternoon and midnight shifts Attractive **_**retention bonus, **_**participation in our **_**ACIP Program,**_ **and **_**Group Benefits**_ **coverage as well as **_**Employee Group Savings Program**_ **upon hire. After your probation you roll into our GWI program; Company uniforms will also be provided at this time.**

**This is a three-shift operation - however currently running two ten hour shifts four days per week (days and afternoon)**

**In this role you will be responsible for**:

- Wind and package products using auto winders, coilers and other packaging equipment.
- Produce the highest level of customer service while maintaining safety, quality, efficiencies, and cost.
- Maintain a high level of quality control; Investigate errors and take corrective actions.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
- Identify potential improvements, particularly in respect to methods, procedures, safety finds and systems.
- Help drive manufacturing Lean initiatives (5S program, Work cell improvement Boards, Day by the hour boards, etc).
- Learn to troubleshoot and investigate errors to uncover root causes and help take appropriate corrective action.

**Experience and Qualifications**:

- High school diploma or GED
- Prior manufacturing or production experience is an asset, but _we are willing to train_
- Demonstrated willingness and ability to learn
- Strong work ethic, reliable and committed to the success of the team
- Ability to use/read measuring tools
- Basic math proficiency
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced production environment
