**Roles and Responsibilities**:
The primary responsibilities of the Production Supervisor will include supervising lead hands and plant hourly workers to fulfill the company’s contractual obligations and achieve customer satisfaction goals.

**Main Job Duties**:

- Plan, organize and direct the production operations so products are produced at highest quality standards, within prescribed process parameters, and at maximum production efficiencies.
- Communicate information relating to equipment, scheduling, inventory, quality, health and safety to appropriate staff and management as required.
- Monitor performance of staff, identify training and development needs.
- Communicate and administer company policies and procedures and programs consistently with all staff.
- Liaise with the all applicable departments to ensure day to day scheduling is optimized.
- Ensure labour costs are maintained within budget.
- Ensure that machines are operated within established parameters.
- Complete and ensure accuracy and distribution of production reports.
- Maintain proper relationship between management and employee, ensuring that all personnel policies, and procedures are followed.
- Formally reviews employee’s development during performance reviews.
- Encourage safe work behaviour through example and direction.
- Maintain a record of no lost time accidents and mínimal recordable incidents.
- Any other duties that may be required from time to time.
- Maintain an active role in CGC Group’s continuous improvement and innovation programs.

**Experience**:

- 3-4 years’ experience in a supervisory role
- Initiative, responsibility and creativity
- Effective organization and multi-tasking ability
- Ability to work independently as well as with a team
- Demonstrated leadership, team building and conflict resolution skills
- Previous experience in process improvement
- Current knowledge of responsibilities under the Occupational Health & Safety Act
