**Role Summary**:
The Marketing Communications Manager responsible for overseeing all external communication and brand expression at NDI. Acting as the “mortar” between Sales and Product, this role ensures a unified messaging strategy across multiple channels. This position collaborates with Product Management to support product launches, align with the evolving product roadmap and coordinate downstream marketing initiatives, At the same time, this role partners with Sales to develop effective sales enablement materials that drive demand and engage customers throughout their journey.
In essence, the Marketing Communications Manager is a key player in shaping NDI’s go-to-market approach, ensuring consistent, high-impact messaging that advances both short-term sales goals and long-term brand equity.
**Scope of Responsibilities**:
External Communications & Brand Stewardship
- Own and champion NDI’s external brand voice, ensuring consistent and cohesive messaging across web, print, social media, and other channels.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for all corporate communications, brand guidelines, and messaging approvals.
- Maintain and enforce brand standards in collaboration with Product and Sales teams.
Product & Sales Alignment
- Collaborate with Product Management to enhance the existing product portfolio, plan and execute product launches, and develop go-to-market strategies and communications to drive deeper market penetration and sustained brand awareness in current markets.
- Develop and refine sales enablement materials (playbooks, presentations, FAQs, case studies) that support the sales team throughout the customer journey.
- Work closely with Product Managers to synchronize messaging around product updates, releases, and downstream marketing initiatives.
Marketing Campaigns
- Track and evaluate campaign performance to make data-driven recommendations and optimize future initiatives.
- Collaborate with QARA teams to ensure all marketing and product-related communications meet regulatory requirements and accurately represent NDI’s products.
Project & Vendor Management
- Oversee marketing projects and campaigns from inception to completion, coordinating with internal stakeholders and external vendors (e.g., freelance writers, translation firms, trade show service providers).
- Manage timelines, budgets, and deliverables to ensure projects are on track, within scope, and aligned with business objectives.
Tradeshow & Event Coordination
- Lead planning and execution of tradeshow and conference participation in partnership with the events team and/or outside vendors.
- Collaborate with Product Management to develop cohesive strategies for booth design, promotional materials, and lead-capturing activities, ensuring alignment with brand and product messaging to enhance NDI’s visibility and brand perception.
Team Leadership & Cross-Functional Influence and Collaboration
- Mentor junior marketing team members, freelancers, or external agencies as the team grows.
- Foster a collaborative environment, championing open communication between Sales, Product, and other functions.
**Education and Professional Qualifications**:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field. An equivalent combination of education and relevant experience will be considered.
- 5+ years of progressive experience in marketing communications, product marketing, or a closely related field, ideally within a technology-centric or medical device environment.
- Demonstrated ability to create high-impact messaging and brand strategies, with a track record of launching successful marketing campaigns or product launches.
- Proficiency in marketing automation (e.g., HubSpot, Pardot) and CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce), web analytics (e.g., Google Analytics), social media platforms (e.g., LinkedIn, Twitter), and cross-functional project management tools (e.g., Jira, Trello).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with an eye for copywriting, storytelling, and editing.
- Strong organizational abilities and a proven capacity to juggle multiple projects and priorities.
- Collaborative mindset: thrives in cross-functional settings and can influence without direct authority.
