Project Coordinator

**RESPONSIBILITES**:
- Assists Project Manager and Site Supervisor in overall project coordination, planning and identifying potential risks and resolving field technical issues;
- Prepares cost breakdowns, budgets and schedule of values for new projects;
- Processes all RFIs, shop drawings, and submittals, reviewing for accuracy;
- Administers change management and change order process including pricing and assessing cost and schedule impact;
- Prepares all POs related to COs;
- Updates project schedules as required;
- Assists PM with quality management of projects by ensuring deficiency completion plans are in place and met;
- Assists with overall project closeout including collecting and compiling closeout information for O&M manuals and preparing as-built CAD drawings
**EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE**:
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in engineering, construction management or a related field;
- 3-5 years of construction industry experience;
- C.E.T. certification as asset
**KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES**:
- Excellent organizational and prioritizing skills, along with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment and observe deadlines;
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills;
- Knowledge of construction industry including equipment and techniques, drawings and specifications, building materials, quality, safety, construction sequences and building code;
- Working knowledge of MS Office including MS Project;
- Experience working with AutoCAD;
- Ability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively in a team environment
