Billing Analyst

**Basic Function**: Petro-Canada Lubricants Inc. (PCLI), an HF Sinclair company is seeking temporary full-time Billing Analyst for a one year contract. The Billing Analyst is responsible for the daily management, administration, improvement, enforcement, and organizational effectiveness of the invoice submissions through various portals. **Job Duties**: - Invoice submissions within 1-3 days - Special billings of various customer portals daily - Follow-up on outstanding balances on aged A/R listing - Provides primary support to Sales, Account Managers, Marketers & Customers and escalate disputes related to amounts, prices and terms - Be responsible for timely month end reports on customer portals - Performs dispute resolutions for charge discrepancies not resolved; dealing with invoice rejections - Special assignments or tasks assigned to the employee by their supervisor, as determined from time to time in their sole and complete discretion **Experience**: - Minimum of 3 years of related experience - Prior experience in monthly recurring billing - In-depth knowledge of SAP is preferred but not required **Education Level**: - Post-secondary education however, a combination of education and related work experience will be considered **Required Skills**: - Working confidence with different technologies/software - Understanding of SoX and financial controls - Ability to analyze and resolve daily work related issues - Possess appropriate knowledge of applicable tax legislation, Eg PST/GST/ Withholding Taxes - Effective interpersonal and communication skills to effectively interact with vendors and others to build and maintain relationships and to manage and resolve issues - Have a continuous improvement mindset - Ability to work independently **PREFERRED SKILLS**: - Ability to communicate with all levels of management and company personnel - Ability to handle multiple tasks - Accuracy and attention to detail is critical - Ability to make decisions and solve problems while working under pressure - Able to work within daily time constraints and deadlines - Ability to create relationships with clients, marketers, sales and account managers - Ability to work independently - Excel and Word intermediate to advanced knowledge **Work Conditions**: - Hybrid role - in office 3 days/Home based 2 days - Temporary full-time contract for up to one year in length **Our One HF Sinclair Culture**: At HF Sinclair, we are united through our One HF Sinclair Culture, which is underpinned by our five core values of Safety, Integrity, Teamwork, Ownership and Inclusion.
