**You as a Proposal Coordinator will**:

- Support the Business Development team with timely management and production of all EllisDon proposal requests.
- Support Pursuit teams throughout the RFP submission stage, including attending meetings, taking minutes, managing FTP site, and coordinating with contributors.
- Writing and editing various proposal sections, including but not limited to executive summaries, project descriptions, qualification summaries, and CVs as required.
- Lead and/or support the development of proposal artwork, cover pages, layouts, as well as presentations and organization charts customized for each project.
- Work with Business Development and Marketing teams to develop strategies and implement programs that ensure consistent proposal and corporate identity standards.
- Develop, update and maintain data for proposals, such as resumes, project pages, safety stats, project pictures, references, etc. for use in future proposal responses.
- Support the creation and updates of marketing materials including CVs, Project Profiles, etc.
- Assist with market research, development of local marketing plans, market analysis and business development.
- Attend industry and client events as needed.

**Is this the right role for you?**
- You are a Construction Professional looking to expand your knowledge of the industry by being exposed to various construction and contract types while supporting the business to successfully win work.
- You have a Diploma or Degree in English/Communications/Business/Marketing or other relevant programs or an equivalent combination of 1-2 years of professional work experience managing and developing technical corporate proposals.
- Strong technical writing skills including copywriting, editing, grammar, style, spelling, punctuation, and proofreading skills.
- You are flexible and open to changing priorities, multi-tasking simultaneously, and meeting deliverables within compressed time frames.
- You are proactive and take initiative with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- You are well versed with Microsoft Office (specifically Word and PowerPoint). Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (particularly InDesign), and experience with Microsoft apps would be an asset.
- Experience in the construction industry and development of design-build and P3 proposals is preferred.
