**Job Description**:
**Responsibilities**:
As an Engineer in Advanced Concept Models Design and Analysis, you will be responsible for the following tasks:

- Generation of Rapid Concept Development (RCD) models.
- Execution of CAE analysis of the model in various Finite Element (FE) analysis codes, such as LS-Dyna, Nastran, and Isight / OptiStruct.
- Application of optimization parameters (e.g., shape, gauge, material, topology) to the RCD model, preparing the model for optimization, and running the optimization study on the system.
- When appropriate, using topology, topography, and shape optimization tools to generate design concepts.
- Preparing reports and summaries of structural performance, collaborating with engineers to design countermeasures and improvements for the analyzed concept.

**Qualifications**:
- Bachelor's degree in Science or Engineering (Mechanical, Aerospace) from an ABET accredited University.
- Experience in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) or CAE analysis of vehicle systems.
- Knowledge of automotive materials and materials science, including steel, aluminum, composites.
- Understanding of structural theory and properties of thin-walled sections.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Familiarity with automotive structures, design processes, BIW assembly processes, and materials used in BIW design.
- Experience with SFE CONCEPT software, model building, and FE meshing tools.
- Basic knowledge of TeamCenter, NX, and VisProfessional Viewer.
- Knowledge of FE meshing tools.
- High level of proficiency in English (speaking, reading, writing).
