SEGULA TECHNOLOGIES is assisting a major automotive OEM in hiring a **Closures - Removable Tops DREs **to join our growing team in **Windsor, ON.**

**Job Description**:

- Collaborating with adjacent departments (electromechanical, electrical, lighting, trim) to coordinate packaging.
- Ensuring CAE scorecard requirements and manufacturing feasibility are met through collaboration with virtual validation groups.
- Maintaining and updating Design Verification Plan & Report (DVP&R) and Design Failure Mode & Effects Analysis (DFMEA).
- Supporting and managing suppliers for quality actions and validation activities.
- Engaging in meetings during NA work hours, closely collaborating with local engineering teams, Architecture/Vehicle Concepts, program science teams, and Product Development Office (PDO) for iterative model alignment.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent from an ABET accredited or equivalent program.
- 5 years of relevant experience.
- Proficiency in the use of Unigraphics NX and Teamcenter.
- Intermediate to advanced level of design/development engineering experience in Body-in-White (BIW), Closures, or Exterior Systems.
- Knowledge and experience with composites and composite production processes.
- Knowledge and experience with steel/aluminum forming processes.
- In-plant launch experience with Body-in-White (BIW) components.
- Experience with Design Failure Mode & Effects Analysis (DFMEA).
- Experience with Design Verification Plan & Report (DVP&R).
- Proficiency in high-strength steels, weld parameters, and Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
