Knowledge Based Engineer

Responsibilities Responsibilities include creating CAD (Catia/NX) parametric math models for commodities using Knowledge Based Engineering template modeling techniques. Position requires extensive knowledge of Catia/NX modeling and an extensive background developing / packaging / synthesizing complex vehicle systems. Additional responsibilities include dictating architecture and construction techniques, creating master development / packaging / requirement sections, defining master template modeling structures, and training other Catia/NX engineers on modeling techniques, architecture. Requirements 5+ Years of CAD modeling with Siemens NX 5+ Years of Robust Modeling with Siemens NX 5+ Years of Parametric CAD Modeling with Siemens NX 5+ Years of Body in White (Automotive) Engineering Experience Strong English-Speaking skills Strong Engineering Design Project Presentation skills required Vehicle or component launch experience (in-plant) Preferred Requirements 7+ Years of Body in White and/or Closures CAD Engineering experience. 7+ years of body experience 7+ Years of CAD Parametric Modeling with Seimens NX Education Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering (Mechanical) We offer attractive, competitive compensation and benefits including, medical, dental, 401k, short-term disability, AD&D, tuition reimbursement, and more.
