Check us out on Linked In or Instagram to get a better idea of what we are all about. It is working a continental “4 on 4 off” shift, working 12 hour days (including one hour lunch). It will be an 8 PM to 8 AM shift. This position is remote or "Work From Home". **Knowledge and Skills** Transportation knowledge - Strong organizational and time management skills - Excellent written and verbal communication skills - Attention to detail when completing documentation - Ability to work with minimum supervision - Strong customer service focus - Ability to adapt to change in a fast - paced progressive working environment - Demonstrate good judgment and an innovative approach to problem solving and process improvement opportunities * Geographical Expertise (Geographical understanding of the continental US, Mexico and Canada. Understanding of mileage as it relates to the passage of time, including DOT & Speed governance, including Transit time difference based on mode) **Responsibilities**: Tracking and Tracing (Exceed customer on-time pick-up and delivery expectations; proactive analysis to prevent service failures) Customer Relationship (Consistent and professional communications; effective, prompt and courteous communications with respect to difficult situations, relaying service failures, etc.) Carrier Relationship (Productive carrier relationship development, AP Discrepancy resolution, cover loads, handling and management of difficult situations, etc.) Order Entry/Contracting (inputting freight details to facilitate the movement of our customer’s freight) - Coordinate and monitor shipment bookings with Wellington offices and other services providers - Confirm and monitor shipments picked up from various client locations - Verify accuracy of shipping documents received from client. - Enter shipment details into Fleet Management System - Work with client to resolve any discrepancies - Arrange pick-up of shipments from and to the USA as well as within Canada. Follow-up on shipments ready date, shipment status and communicate with carriers, client customers and third party service providers - Arrange local pick ups and prepare export documentation package for international air exports - Monitor imports into Canada and follow up on Customs Release and delivery as required - Follow up on all shipments through to delivery; obtain POD copies for all shipments and update the customer - Provide ad-hoc quotations to client - Respond to all client inquiries **Salary**: $48,000.00-$50,000.00 per year Additional pay: - Overtime pay **Benefits**: - Casual dress Flexible language requirement: - French not required Schedule: - 12 hour shift - Night shift
