What You’ll Be Doing
**Leading by Example**: As a Senior Barista, you’ll set the standard for exceptional customer service and coffee quality. You’ll be a role model for newer team members, ensuring smooth daily operations.
**Crafting Quality Beverages**: From espresso shots to pour-overs, you’ll brew consistently high-quality coffee and lead the team in maintaining coffee excellence.
**Customer Connection**: Build meaningful relationships with our regulars and new customers alike, ensuring everyone feels welcome and valued.
**Training & Mentoring**: Share your knowledge and expertise with junior baristas, helping them grow and master their craft.
**Maintaining Café Standards**: Work with the Manager to ensure the café runs efficiently, including overseeing cleanliness, food safety, and inventory management.
Who You Are
**Coffee Enthusiast**: You’re passionate about coffee and take pride in delivering the best quality beverages.
**Experienced Barista**: You have at least 2-3 years of experience in a fast-paced cafe environment and are comfortable dialing in espresso, steaming milk to perfection, and crafting exceptional beverages.
**Leadership**: You’re confident in your abilities and can provide guidance to the team, helping them achieve their potential.
**Customer Service**: You excel at creating a friendly and welcoming atmosphere, building relationships with customers, and handling any challenges with ease.
**Team Player**: You work well with others, communicate effectively, and lead with empathy and integrity.
What You Bring
Strong knowledge of coffee preparation, brewing techniques, and equipment maintenance.
At least 2-3 years of barista experience in a fast-paced, high-volume cafe environment.
Food Safe Level 1 certification (preferred).
A passion for hospitality and delivering an outstanding customer experience.
Availability to work flexible hours, including mornings, evenings, and weekends.
