Bowden Speech and Language Therapy is hiring We are an experienced, local, pediatric speech-therapy company in East Toronto providing in-clinic, in community, and school-based to children and their families.

Bowden Speech and Language Therapy is committed to personalized, modern speech and language therapy based on up-to-date practices and research. Our aim is to work side by side with our clients to identify and reach their goals. Our areas of service include articulation and motor speech, expressive and receptive language, social communication, literacy, voice, and fluency.

We are looking to add a passionate and engaging Speech-Language Pathologist to our team as an Independent Contractor. This person will provide one on one therapy to clients in our clinic, in school, and community locations. Additional therapy opportunities may also include group sessions, virtual therapy, and parent coaching. We are currently looking for therapists with a range of availability. New graduates are welcome to apply, and mentorship is available. Applicants should expect part time hours to start with the possibility of expansion.
- Assess children with communication challenges and develop treatment plans in collaboration with caregivers to address the family’s goals.
- Plan and execute therapy sessions to address the client’s goals and interests
- Monitor client progress and update treatment plans in keeping with company guidelines.
- Contribute to quality assurance programs.
- Complete required continuing education.
- Maintain clinical documentation according to CASLPO standards.
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited University.
- Current professional liability insurance.
- Proficient oral and written communication skills.
- Experience providing support to children with a range of communicative disorders.
- Access to a vehicle, valid driver’s license, and insurance preferred, but not necessary.

New graduates and experienced therapists are encouraged to apply.

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: $95.00-$135.00 per hour

Expected hours: 8 - 16 per week
