As Allocator you will be responsible for ensuring that customer orders are fulfilled on time and from the correct locations to maximize sales and efficiencies. You will be responsible for optimizing the flow of the stock to the customers by means of allocation through the ERP and communicating any roadblocks to the correct departments.
**Responsibilities**
- Perform the sales allocation operations efficiently in order to ensure warehouse efficacy and service levels.
- Coordinate with warehouse personnel for assortment needs and selection.
- Review inventory levels daily at various warehouses to ensure customer sales orders are fulfilled in a timely manner.
- Communicate regularly with item managers, account managers and planners to ensure accuracy of information in the ERP system.
- Develop specific distribution plans for the division and prioritize the at once needs.
- Perform the allocations on time in order to maintain the flow of merchandise and meet logistic requirements.
- Maintain good relationships with different departments in order to contribute to strategies, share best practices, and improve the business knowledge.
- Maintain the flow of merchandise, address special delivery requests, and resolve any order issues and special requests with item managers and/or customer service.
- Provide daily status reports on sales orders to the team.
- Work with the various warehouses to resolve any unresolved problems.
