**YOUR ROLE**

Reporting directly to the Director of Planning & Allocation projects and responsible for:

- Mapping allocation processes, identify continuous improvement opportunities & implement them;
- Owning allocation processes & strategy (quantification, initial allocation, replenishment, recalls, store clusters ) & tools (systems & reports)
- Training new team members & ad-hoc/ refresh trainings to ensure that process improvements are shared & implemented
- Working in close collaboration with category managers & Sales & Operations Directors to identify challenges in the allocation process, specific needs for the category or stores.
- Subject Matter expert for IT projects related to allocations &systems supporting the Allocation processes
- Supporting the team reporting needs by creating new reports & dashboards once the data are available
- Building strong relationships within the team (Category managers, allocators) & the eco-system (buyers, sales & operations, visual merchandising )

Management and coaching:

- Train new allocators & ensure allocation practices are in each category aligned with our established processes

Process and operation driven:

- Map & challenge existing Allocation processes, document them in an organized & user-friendly manner (library of processes & best practices);
- Direct communication with Allocators, Buyers, Category Managers, Sales & Operations Directors, Inventory Control, Outbound Transport, Logistics to gather their challenges with existing processes & needs for improvements.
- Understand systems used by the Allocation team, maximize their usage within the team & document enhancements needed;
- Understand reports used/ produced by the Allocation team, challenge their value & identify the path for automation;
- Identify continuous improvement opportunities & area of focus to establish with leadership priorities & process roadmap

Analysis:

- Build a set of reports on allocation processes to ensure that allocations are done timely to the right store & in the right quantity (initial allocation, replenishment, aged inventory, store inventory )
- Ad hoc analysis to support cross categories requests

Project management:

- Subject Mater expert for Allocation with the IT team both for data (Business Intelligence) & systems (Enterprise Applications)
- Own Allocation project portfolio, align with leadership on the roadmap and deliver accordingly.

- Strong work ethic and interpersonal skills, enjoys working as part of a team and can provide coaching to team members
- Ability to work cross-functional in a multi-cultural environment.
- Ability to clearly communicate with partners from different teams and at different level in the hierarchy
- Ability to formalize ideas & projects: build documents/ presentation that articulate ideas clearly & map existing & target process
- Strong analytical skillset both to build reports & analyze the results
- “Customer Service” mindset to deliver support to allocators, stores

Process engineering & critical thinking:

- Allocation processes knowledge is an asset
- Project Management experience is an asset
- Understanding of inventory management & stores is an asset
- Extensive knowledge of Excel is required.
- Ability to review and analyze large amounts of data.
- Ability to make decisions and solve problems in a timely manner.
- Curiosity, willingness to seek for information & deep dive to perfectly understand all steps in a process
- Ability to summarize, understand & share the big picture (end to end) while knowing the details of each step
- Challenge status quo, think outside the box.

Management:

- Ability to work under pressure and meet multiple deadlines in a timely manner.
- Ability to document, provide constructive feedback & listen actively
