Information Agent

_The Nunavik Regional Board of Health and Social Services (NRBHSS), incorporated under the James Bay and Northern Québec Agreement (section 15) as well as the Act respecting health services and social services, covers the entire territory located north of the 55th parallel. Its mission is to adapt health and social services programs to the population’s needs and the region’s realities and to ensure efficient organization of the resources made available to the Nunavik region._

The regional board seeks to fill the following 2 permanent positions:
**DESCRIPTION**

Reporting to the regional director, strategy, organizational development and corporate affairs, and assistant to the general manager, and to the communications coordinator, you will play a key role in defining information and communications objectives and programs. You will ensure the implementation of appropriate means and activities to promote the flow of information and encourage communications within the Regional Board and on the territory of Nunavik.

Your responsibilities also include:

- Participate in the evaluation, development and implementation of general internal and external information programs;
- Work on the production and adaptation of promotional and information tools for NRBHSS departments;
- Develop and implement strategic communications plans tailored to the organization's needs;
- Work closely with human resources and general management to support the organization's internal communications efforts;
- Ensure the deployment of communication strategies, monitor their success and propose adjustments if necessary;
- Contribute to the redesign of Web platforms and the realization of integrated communication campaigns aimed at ensuring recruitment and retention in an intercultural context;
- Write content for press releases, briefing notes, public notices, speeches, reports and official documents;
- Facilitate the maintenance of coherent and effective communication within the organization;
- Support the organization of internal and external events (conferences, workshops, launches, etc.);
- Contribute to the management of the organization's social networks and digital platforms;
- Participate in the creation of visual and multimedia content (presentations, infographics, videos);
- Collaborate with external partners and the media to ensure visibility and consistency of messages.

**REQUIREMENTS**
- Must have a bachelor's degree in letters and languages, humanities, social sciences or another appropriate academic discipline;
- At least 2 years' experience in a similar position;
- Good understanding of the Nunavik context and Inuit culture (an asset);
- Proficiency in at least two of the three languages spoken in the region: inuktitut, english, or french;
- Experience in communications and/or media and public relations;
- Experience in the health and social services network is an asset;
- Demonstrate flexibility, autonomy and teamwork;
- Ability to handle a variety of mandates and files simultaneously;
- Ability to synthesize and popularize complex information;
- Strong analytical and solution-oriented skills;
- Good knowledge of social networks and the Web in general.

**WORKING CONDITIONS**
- **2 full-time permanent positions (35h/week);**:

- Position based in Kuujjuaq or telecommuting with travel to Nunavik;
