**Supreme Steel is currently looking for an experienced Yard Equipment Operator to join our facility in**

**strong communication skills.**

**This position is responsible for but are not limited to the following**:
**- Moving and Organizing Steel Inventory**

**- Three to Five years’ overhead crane experience is a requirement.**

**- Excellent attention to detail**

**- Exceptional organizational, communication and interpersonal skills**

**- Effective time management skills**

**- Demonstrates knowledge and adherence to safety procedures**

**- Experience in the structural steel fabrication sector is considered an asset**

**- Three to Five years’ experience with equipment such as forklifts, travel lifts, tractors, loaders, trucks is an**

**asset.**

**This is a full-time unionized position, which may be required to work night shift.**

**Supreme Steel offers a competitive wage and benefit package as per the collective agreement, including**

**yearly safety boot and glasses allowances, two extra paid statutory holidays each year and nights shift**

**premium of $3.00/hr. Additional benefits include medical, dental, and life insurance benefits and after 3**

**months. After one year of service a company sponsored self-directed RRSP program.**

**All employees must adhere to proper safety procedures and policies while working in a culture of care.**

**Positions working in labour intensive or safety-sensitive environments will be required to pass pre-employment**

**driving record, as well as reliable transportation.**
**- Proficiency in operating forklifts, clamp trucks, cranes, and other warehouse equipment**
**- Familiarity with order picking processes and warehouse management systems**
**- Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment**
**- Knowledge of warehouse distribution procedures is a plus**

Pay: $24.52-$34.28 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Additional pay:

- Overtime pay

**Education**:

- Secondary School (preferred)
