A2SKI Industrial is searching for dedicated and experienced Equipment Operators who are responsible for operating heavy machinery and equipment to support construction, maintenance, or other operational activities. These roles involve handling equipment such as bulldozers, backhoes, excavators, cranes, graders, forklifts, and other machinery. The equipment operator must ensure safe, efficient, and accurate operation, as well as maintenance and reporting on equipment performance.

**Key Responsibilities**

As the Operator you will be responsible to:

- Operate and monitor machinery and equipment, ensuring proper functioning.
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on equipment to minimize downtime.
- Always follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and safety guidelines.
- Maintain accurate records of production data, equipment performance, and safety incidents.
- Collaborate with team members to meet production targets and improve processes.
- Report any malfunctions or safety hazards to the supervisor immediately.
- Participate in training sessions and maintain certifications as required.
- Assist in the training of new operators and provide support as needed.

**Qualifications**

As the Operator, you will bring:

- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification preferred.
- A clean and valid drivers license -An abstract is required.
- A1 drivers license would be an asset.
- Valid and current Certification to operate various pieces of equipment such as skid steers, telehandlers, aerial work platforms, forklifts, etc.
- Previous experience in manufacturing or industrial setting is a plus.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills..
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety.
- Ability to lift heavy objects and stand for long periods.

**Role Criteria**
- Annual Drug and Alcohol Screening
- Safety certificates (SCOT, First Aid, etc.)

**Job Types**: Full-time, Fixed term contract

Licence/Certification:

- Class 5 Licence (preferred)
