Warehouse and Tool Crib Associate

**What is the opportunity?**
Join Redmond & Associates as a **Warehouse and Tool Crib Associate** and play a vital role in our daily operations at our 103,000 sq. ft. facility in Brampton, Ontario. You’ll support our family-run business by maintaining a clean and organized warehouse, managing tool inventory, performing minor tool repairs, and assisting crews with equipment and parts logistics using counterbalance forklifts. This entry-level role is perfect for self-motivated individuals with at least one year of forklift experience and a valid G driver’s license, offering a chance to grow within a dynamic, family-oriented company that values hard work, integrity, and career development.
**What will you do?**
Maintaining order and cleanliness of facility.
- Change garbages
- Sweep/clean floor
- Stock oil spill kits
Maintain Tool Crib:
- Sign tools/equipment in and out
- Maintain tool inventory
- Inspect tools and equipment; make minor repairs
Other:
- Deliver tools/equipment to crews, as needed
- Pick up parts for maintenance, as needed
- Assist with tracking storage in and storage out
- Tracking all shipments coming and going
- Help crews getting their equipment each morning
- Complete daily paperwork and reports accurately and promptly
**What do you need to succeed?**
Must-have
- Valid G Driver's License
- Minimum 1 year of experience with a counterbalance forklift
- Descent mechanical skills (to understand how to repair our tools)
- Ability to work well autonomously
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Basic computer skills for data entry and inventory management
- Proficient in English (speaking, reading, and writing)
- Strong familiarity with basic hand and powert tools
- Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and a willingness to learn
- Punctuality and dependability
- Integrity, reliability, and disciplined approach to work
- Self-motivation, strong communication skills, and emotional intelligence
Nice-to-have
- Experience operating overhead cranes
- Warehousing/Material Handling experience
- Rigging Experience
- Flatbed tie-down experience
- Machinery Moving experience
- Millwrighting experience (or other mechanical aptitudes)

Today, Redmond & Associates stands tall in its impressive 103,000 square foot facility located on Chrysler Dr. in Brampton, Ontario. Tony and Jennifer now work with their nephew - Kevin, son-in-law - Blair, and their children - Aleasha, Adam and Tim as they continue to build the Redmond & Associates legacy.

Pay: From $22.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
