**You are a Slot Nerd, or a Casino Game Geek. Designing and developing exciting casino games is your passion. You like to think outside the box. You have a solid track-record of impactful online casino games. You have a strong knowledge of the online iGaming industry market, trends, and regulations.**

**You will be responsible for**:

- Collaborate and assist the Head of Games Design and Senior Mathematician in the brainstorming, creation, and development of slot games, new game features, and other types of casino games
- Create detailed and clear written game design documents and specifications:

- high level game concepts
- art style and mood-boards
- game design document (GDD) for new games and features
- detailed game specification documents (GSD)
- Work closely with the Senior Mathematicians to develop the games mathematical models and PAR Sheets
- Liaise and support the Game Teams to kick off the game development process
- Coordinate with the game team, setting game development milestones, short-term and long-term reviews to ensure production proceeds according to the game design
- Participate in feedback sessions and team gameplay sessions aimed at improving the games and ensuring quality
- Participate in the quality assurance and certification processes of the games
- Ensure new games and features are evaluated for usability and performance
- Research, play, and study casino games to stay up-to-date with market trends and competition
- Perform other tasks as required

**Essential experience**:

- 3+ years designing slot games with a solid track-record of impactful online casino games
- Great understanding of casino games and real money gaming compliance, jurisdictions, trends, and regulatory bodies
- Extensive knowledge of real money games and player psychology and the ability to create designs for specific markets and players
- Excellent understanding of mathematical fundamentals of slot games
- Strong knowledge of online casino game design, with focus on game usage for all platforms, both regarding usability and performance
- Excellent creative skills and ability to think outside the box
- Highly organized, experienced in designing multiple games and delivering to tight deadlines
- Passion for slot games including an excellent understanding of the online slot games industry and trends
- Experience working with project tracking tools such as JIRA
- Excellent English written and verbal communication skills
- Leadership attitude and not afraid to get your hands dirty
- Excellent teamwork skills and ability to adapt

**Desirable experience**:

- Slot Nerd or Casino Game Geek
- Self-motivated with a strong desire to learn and stay abreast of online casino game trends and developments/standards
- Bilingual (French and English) is an asset
