Junior to Intermediate Geomembrane Liner Technician

**Job Overview**
As a Junior to Intermediate Liner Technician, you will assist in the installation, repair, and maintenance of geomembrane liners and other containment systems. This role requires hands-on work, often in outdoor environments, and provides an excellent opportunity to grow your skills in a specialized trade within the environmental and construction industries.

**Duties**
- Assist with the installation and seaming of geomembrane liners, including HDPE, LLDPE, and other materials.
- Operate and maintain liner installation equipment such as wedge welders, and extrusion welders.
- Prepare job sites by setting up necessary equipment and materials.
- Assist with pulling liner material and moving sandbags. Perform daily labor tasks as needed to support the project.
- Ensure proper alignment and installation of liner systems based on project specifications.
- Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Support senior liner technicians and site supervisors in day-to-day tasks.

**Qualifications**
- Familiarity with welding equipment, including wedge welders and extrusion welders, is an asset.
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to travel for work, as projects will require on-site presence.
- Physical fitness is required, as the role involves manual labor, lifting, and standing for extended periods.

**Requirements**:

- High school diploma or equivalent (trade certifications or technical education are a bonus).
- Valid driver’s license.
- CSTS certification (Construction Safety Training System) is mandatory.
- Willingness to travel and work in remote locations for extended periods.
- Pre-employment drug and alcohol testing is mandatory.
- Criminal background check is required as a condition of employment.
- Safety certifications such as First Aid, H2S Alive, or other industry-relevant certifications are a plus.

**Job Type**: Seasonal
Contract length: 2 months

Pay: $25.00-$40.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 84 per week
