**About the documentation specialist**:
Reporting to the Senior Manager - Structured Finance Documentation, the documentation specialist will assist the Structured Finance Documentation Team on various facets of sophisticated transaction processing, from documentation preparation up to the point of funding. This involves communicating and working with the internal teams (Sales Team, Credit, and Operations) to gain a thorough understanding of the transaction and to provide superior customer service to all parties, while ensuring compliance to company policies and procedures.

Your main responsibilities will be:

- Prepare Structured deal transactions and related documentation (including closing agenda) as described in the Large deal procedure guideline
- Gather information from sales and credit for the preparation of transaction-related documentation
- Pull/Order and review lien searches as required and prepare any cession or rank, subordination or releases as needed
- Register PPSA/RDPRM filings within the parameter of each Province’s regulations
- Obtain authorizations from credit/legal counsel for sign-offs on special circumstances;
- Once documents are executed and returned (from internal) verify that all documentation adheres to MHCCNA requirements by completing initial audit
- Enter transactions into front-end systems ensuring that data integrity is maintained
- Prepare funding, verifying pricing and tax treatment
- Work with credit/legal counsel to ensure all conditions have been met prior to funding submission

- Participant in University Co-op Program
- Strong communication skills (English only required)
- Ability to work with numbers
- Good attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and with a team
