Production Inventory Controller

The Production Inventory Controller is self-motivated and results driven individual who will assist with managing our organizations inventory and to develop and implement effective control strategies. The Production Inventory Controller will work with various levels of management from order inception to delivery of finished goods to assist in establishing and monitoring daily/weekly/monthly production, planning and purchasing requirements. It is essential as Production Inventory Controller, to demonstrate continuous improvement and lean manufacturing principles, identify new opportunities, shifts in production demand or business conditions and recommend appropriate action.

- Manage and analyze production materials weekly.
- Brilliant at time management and interpersonal communication skills.
- Excellent tech savvy skills and strong working knowledge of CAD drawings, Tradewood’s ERP and Manufacturing Planning systems.
- Willingness to participate and support other aspects of the organization.
**Overall expectations**:
- Creation of multiple material break out lists including reading and auditing Design Team’s CAD drawings.
- Responsible to load material break out lists into time tracking program.
- Amending CAD drawings to suit raw materials and production’s needs.
- Manage operation schedules and production requirements to ensure timely order fulfillment.
- Responsible to complete efficiency audits for shop processes.
- Ensure accurate allocation of materials used.
- Analyze production flow to ensure sufficient workload to maximize production efficiencies.
- Analyze and assign times to production processes.
- Responsible to ensure all processing centers have sufficient supply of required materials to minimize unproductive time.
- Assist with regular physical inventory cycle counts to ensure accuracy.
- Identify and champion innovative improvement to inventory management system.
- Ensure Tradewood’s ERP and manufacturing planning systems are kept current and accurate at all times.
- Ensure accurate status communication with Planning Manager.
- Actively participate in preproduction project planning processes.
- Assist department manager to take actions on Engineering Change Orders (ECO) and Non-Conformance Reports related to material movements set up or removal.
- Actively collaborate with team members to investigate and implement best practices in order to improve demand planning, inventory planning, production planning and supply planning processes.
- Analyze problematic situations and occurrences and provide solutions to ensure company growth.
- Adhere to company standards and production policies to meet company objectives.
- Ensure a positive work environment through training and professional development.
- Further develop and enhance company culture.
- Perform special projects in support of the organizations business objectives.
- Perform other duties as required by Supervisor.
**QUALIFICATIONS**:
- Minimum 3 years manufacturing experience.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Extremely proficient in Microsoft Office Suite “heavily focused on excel spreadsheets and formulas”.
- Strong analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Able to excel in high pressure situations.
- Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
Remuneration will be commensurate with experience and qualifications.
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
**Salary**: $15.50-$24.70 per hour
