We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our team.

**About the Role**

This role involves managing various aspects of accounts receivable and ensuring timely and accurate processing of transactions. Our Accounts Receivable Clerk ensures that the company’s receivables are well-managed and safeguarded, maintaining an organized and efficient process.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Make collection calls on past due accounts and negotiate payment schedules.
- Process incoming mail, cheques, and corresponding invoices.
- Reconcile daily cheque intake with reports for accuracy.
- Input customer information into our system and maintain accurate records.
- Reconcile accounts weekly and monthly.
- Contact customers regarding declined credit cards and arrange alternative payments.
- Process and deliver customer statements, calculate rewards points, and submit totals as required.
- Handle daily cash balancing and month-end close activities.

**What We Need From You**
- High school diploma
- 2-3 years accounts receivable experience ideal
- Office administration course (10-month)
- Knowledge of Credit reports (Equifax) and Credit recovery procedures
- Business Administration diploma or related accounting courses preferred
- Aptitude for computing numbers, auditing, accuracy, and detail orientated
- Computer literate (MS365, Excel, Word), experience with Profit Master is an asset
- Organization, excellent time management, and deadline driven
- Strong interpersonal & telephone skills
