A typical day for the Learning & Development Advisor
**Material Development**:

- Write process documentation
- Write and develop training materials including visual aids, activities, employee workbooks and facilitator guides
- Update and maintain learning material
- Assist with the development of E-Learning based courses

**Instructional Design and Facilitation**:

- Facilitate classroom training sessions to help onboard new hires and to support the continuing development of existing employees
- Develop learning solutions that build the foundation of knowledge and enhance staff abilities
- Design, develop and partner to create and deliver innovative learning
- Design activities, exercises and learning solutions to help support learning and development

Consultation
- Consult with business units and managers to assess employee development needs, performance gaps, and business objectives
- Analyze business needs and determine appropriate learning solutions
- Design, develop and deliver learning and job aids to meet business needs

What you bring
- Bachelor’s degree or certification in adult education, adult facilitation or instructional design
- Minimum of five years’ experience in learning and development with experience in documentation & facilitation
- Understanding of documentation creation and processes
- Experience in the use of Articulate Storyline, Rise, & Vyond
- Superior communication skills; both written and verbal
- Knowledge of Pension Plans and procedures for a broad range of APS business units considered an asset
- Proven ability to work collaboratively with internal and external partners
