**What You’ll Be Doing**

As our Operations and Estimating Specialist, you’ll take on a dynamic role that combines leadership, technical expertise, and hands-on execution. Your responsibilities will include:
**Operations Management**:

- Oversee daily operations to ensure jobs and projects run smoothly and efficiently.
- Align people, processes, and resources with company goals to maintain high standards and customer satisfaction.
- Drive strategic initiatives and improvements in collaboration with ownership.

**Estimating and Scheduling**:

- Prepare accurate, competitive estimates for plumbing, HVAC, and piping projects.
- Manage schedules to optimize resources and ensure timely project delivery.
- Work closely with clients, technicians, and suppliers to align estimates and schedules with project goals.

**Shaping the Future**:

- Lead by example, inspiring and mentoring team members to perform at their best.
- Help train and guide the next generation of tradespeople, contributing to a positive future for the industry.
- Build strong relationships with clients and partners, ensuring Trade Tech remains a trusted name in the industry.

**What We’re Looking For**

We need someone who is self directed, detail-oriented, and proactive—a natural problem-solver who thrives in a hands-on role. Here’s what you’ll need:

- Proven experience in mechanical estimating and project scheduling, with a track record of delivering accurate, competitive proposals.
- Leadership experience in plumbing, HVAC, or a similar trade.
- Education in construction management, mechanical trades, or estimating, such as the Advanced Construction Engineering Technology (ACET) diploma from Conestoga College or the Construction Engineering Technology - Management diploma from Fanshawe College (or equivalent).
- Trade certification such as Plumber, HVAC Technician, or similar is a strong asset.
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- A commitment to excellence, with the drive to see projects through to success.

Pay: $50,000.00-$80,000.00 per year
