**Overview**:
The F&I Manager sells finance and insurance programs, aftermarket products and warranties, to buyers of new and used marine, automotive, and recreational vehicles (RV). F&I managers also work with financial lenders to give fair interest rates (prime and sub-prime) to buyers and programs.
As with all positions within dealerships, F&I managers are expected to uphold the highest ethical standards. F&I Managers are required to maintain the profitability of their department while controlling expenses and maintaining customer satisfaction. Managers are required to not only understand and keep abreast of the federal, provincial, and local regulations that affect their operations, but must also comply with these regulations. Management personnel require strong communication skills to deal with customers, employees, and vendors, as they represent the dealership. People working within the automotive retail industry often must work extended hours, evenings, and weekends to achieve their goals.

Compensation: 100% commission with annual earning potential of $100-130K + vacation pay, Group Benefits, RRSP with employer match
**Reports to**:General Manager
**Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities**:
Develop strong relationships with customers to_:_
- Offer financing and insurance to customers and provide them with a thorough explanation of aftermarket products and extended warranties and a complete explanation of manufacturer and dealership service procedures and policies.
- Seek new lending institutions and maintaining good working relationships to secure competitive interest rates and financing programs.
- Process financing and leasing deals accurately and securing approval through financial sources to secure approval and through the proper federal, provincial, and corporate channels.
- Understand and comply with federal, provincial, and local regulations that affect the new and used-RV, marine and vehicle and finance departments.
- Create and maintain a program with the sales department that will ensure all new sales are referred to the F&I department.
- Train and provide the sales team with information on finance and lease programs and the benefits of the dealership’s financing and extended service programs.
- Work directly with the General Manager and Sales Manager(s) to ensure seamless service and a positive customer experience.
Be detail oriented_:_
- Listen to and document customer needs and expectations throughout the sales visit.
- Follows-up with customers in a way that works best for them.
- Prepare for the delivery of new vehicle. Ensure all details of the F & I Process are completed.
- Ensure all documentation/paperwork is completed in an accurate and timely manner.
- Review and analyze actions regularly to determine how to better utilize time and plan more effectively.

- Be able to explain technical features, options, and their benefits.
- Be knowledgeable about new features, specials, and updates.
