**Position Summary**:
**As a health and wellness organization, the First Nations Health Authority has aligned with the Provincial Public Health Order released on October 14, 2021. We have a mandatory COVID-19 vaccination policy for all employees at First Nations Health Authority. This policy requires all employees to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19. If selected for employment, you will be required to provide proof of vaccination by providing a copy of your BC Vaccination Card Passport with the QR code.**

**Responsibilities**:

- Enforces the tools and processes to support the FNHA Data Advisory Committee (DAC), Data Champions Committee (DCC), Data Management Working Group (DMWG), Data and Information Planning Committee (DIPC) to do their work, and ensures alignment with Committee recommendations.
- Coordinates the interfaces with a wide range of people across the FNHA including community and senior leadership in the regions, as well as with external organization, provincial and federal partners to support development of Data Access Request (DAR) and monitor the use of FNHA-held data, FNCF and FNCF data.
- Leads the development and navigation of Data Access Requests with project teams, researchers, FNHA departments, First Nations commutes, and stakeholder institutions.
- Participates in compiling and drafting Information Sharing Agreement (ISA) and Research Agreement (RA) involving large organizations and complex health data access requests consisting of multiple data sources and involving a multitude of legislative/legal authorities for both FNHA held or FNCF datasets in collaboration with partners and relevant stakeholders
- Provides support to the FNHA Data Advisory Committee (DAC), Data Champions Committee (DCC), Data Management Working Group (DMWG), Data and Information Planning Committee (DIPC)
- Works closely with the Project Director, Data Liaison, in the area of overall data access, data governance, privacy and information sharing, with the aim of providing consistent, reliable, relevant, timely, accurate and usable information/data about the health and wellness of BC First Nations by:

- Tracking implementation of decisions with the partner organizations, identifying requirements and providing support where necessary to ensure action items are completed
- Operationalizing designs, policies and processes around data access for FNCF, FNCF data and FNHA held-data
- Ensuring strong accountabilities and controls through process management and tracking of specific data requests by adhering to systems and administrative mechanisms to ensure effectiveness and accurate record-keeping;
- Liaising and coordinating with stakeholders and executives, report to the Project Director, on feedback and recommendations

**Qualifications**:

- A Bachelor’s Degree plus a minimum of 5 years of related, relevant experience in Health Informatics, Social Science, Public Health or related health field.
- Recent and relevant experience in project coordination
- Experience establishing and maintaining collaborative relationships with business clients, partners and stakeholders.
- Experience researching, analyzing, synthesizing and preparing information and briefing materials for decision makers on policy, strategic, and/or business/operational matters.
- Experience interpreting, applying, and providing advice on legislation, or poly, or legal contracts.
- Experience developing information sharing agreement or policy development is an asset
- Experience in health research, in particular with documentation, process, and protocols (e.g., funding/grant sources and processes; research ethics and methodology)
- Experience working with First Nations is an asset
- Experience working with health datasets is an asset
- Experience working with database/data warehouse and SQL is an asset

**Knowledge, Skills & Attributes**:
Knowledge
- Knowledge of provincial and federal legislation for data sharing
- Knowledge of the healthcare system and data landscape in British Columbia
