**Title**: Specialist, Health Informatics Support
**Salary**: $72,841 - $91,051 - $100,156 per year (pay range explained below)
**Contract**: Term role till March 2026
**Hours**: 37.5 hours per week (core hours 9am-3pm Mon-Fri)
**Location**: Metro Vancouver Area (Hybrid working is an option in line with FNHA’s flex work policy).

**About the role**
As Specialist, Health Informatics Support, you will lead and promote the integration of computer and communications technologies and clinical change initiatives that automate and/or enhance evidence-based clinical practices, access to client information and clinical documentation via an Electronic Medical Record (EMR).

**About you**
To be successful in this role you will have/be:

- Bachelor’s degree in Analytics, Statistics, Computer Science, Health Informatics, Operations Research, Health Care or equivalent discipline.
- 3-5 years of experience implementing and/or supporting integrated clinical system environments.

- You may have knowledge of;
- Primary care / urgent care electronic medical records environments and understanding of how such systems can integrate with larger acute care clinical information systems..
- Data stewardship best practices, including OCAP® and FPIC.

Data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau and Denodo) to present systems data.
- Quantitative and qualitative methods to assess health programs and services.

The Pay Range is the minimum and maximum annual salary based on full time equivalent hours.
Incumbents are typically hired, transferred or promoted between the minimum and midpoint of the range based on their knowledge, skills, abilities and experience in relation to the role requirements.
The top 10% of the pay range is for the incumbents who are industry experts in the job with the combination of exceptional experience and competencies needed to perform all duties and responsibilities at a superior capability level. Internal employee compensation will be determined as per the FNHA Employee Total Compensation Policy.

As a health and wellness organization, the FNHA has aligned with the Provincial Public Health Order released on October 14, 2021. We have a mandatory COVID-19 vaccination policy for all employees at First Nations Health Authority. This policy requires all employees to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19. If selected for employment, you will be required to provide proof of vaccination by providing a copy of your BC Vaccination Card Passport with the QR code.
